We offer a transparent service to all, ensuring services available are needed and used. Dr Simon Bowers
MB CHB DRCOG
Simon qualified from Liverpool Medical School in 1998 and joined Fulwood Green as a partner in 2002 after completing his training in hospitals sand practices in Merseyside. He is currently the Community Clinical Lead for the Digital Liverpool Programme and the Clinical Development Lead for Capacity, the Public Services Lab. He is also a trustee of the Liverpool Football Club Foundation. Anybody who has been in his consulting room will know his main interests are his family, music and LFC!

Dr Annie Elizabeth Farrell
MB CHB DRCOG MRCGP DFFP
Dr Farrell (nee Ward) qualified from Liverpool University in 2001. During her general practice training she developed interests in obstetrics & gynaecology and mental health. She joined Fulwood Green in April 2006.
Her interests include contraception, family planning and mental health. She is able to provide a full range of contraceptive services including implants and intra-uterine devices (coils). She is a trainer for GP Registrars.

Dr Jamie Hampson
MB CHB (hons) B.SC. (HONS) MRCGP
Dr Hampson qualified in Liverpool in 1995. He completed his GP training in 2001 after gaining
experience in a number of specialities in the UK and Australia. He is a GP trainer and has specialist
clinical interests in dermatology and minor surgery. He is Liverpool CCG lead for antimicrobial
stewardship and chairs the medicines optimisation committee and Mersey area prescribing committee.

Dr Kathryn Harrison
MB CHB MRCGP DRCOG DFFP FHEA
‘Dr Harrison qualified in 2003 from Liverpool Medical School. She joined the practice in 2009 and prior to
this worked in Everton, north Liverpool and New Zealand. Dr Harrison works part time in the practice and
part time as a Clinical Tutor at Liverpool Medical School, training the next generation of doctors. She
also sits on the Mersey Faculty Board of the Royal College of General Practitioners. In her spare time Dr
Harrison enjoys reading, skiing and crafts such as sewing and baking.

Dr Debbie Brooksbank
MB CHB MRCGP, DFFP
Dr Brooksbank was born and bred in Liverpool and is a Sheffield graduate. She is a GP trainer at the
practice and an executive member of the Family Doctors Association, which involves organising teaching
for local GP’s. She is a keen runner and gym attender and enjoys spending time with her family.

Dr Jim Davies
CHB BSC DRCOG MRCGP
Dr Davies is also a Liverpool Graduate (class of 2010). He has spent time in the Netherlands working in
General Surgery & Microbiology. His interests include Minor surgery and Joint Injections. He is a keen
out- of –hours GP and away from work he practices what he preaches by keeping fit and cooking-up a
(healthy) storm!

Hilary Prescott
Nurse Clinician Msc, BSC (hons), RN
Hil’s has been a qualified nurse for past 25 and half years having commenced her journey through
Nursing Homes for 2 years, Accident and Emergency for 6 years, Old Swan Walk-in Centre for 8 years
and Community Matron for 3 years before finding her way to Fulwood Green Medical Centre. Over this
time she has studied for her Diploma in Adult Nursing, BSc (Hons) Degree and MSc. Master’s Degree
along with nurse prescribing qualification.
Hil’s has been our Nurse Clinician for 6 and half years. She undertakes our Emergency Surgery every
morning and oversees our Elderly and Frail housebound patients in their home environments. She is the
practice lead for our Dementia patients and also maintains the Home from Hospital assessments along
with chronic disease annual reviews and baby immunisations.

and Sexual Health.
In her spare time Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
